Franco Fest: Introductory Printmaking Workshop

Want to try something new, hands in ink and creativity at the ready?
In collaboration with Entr’Elles, the Société francophone de Victoria invites you to an introductory printmaking workshop led by artist Muriel Marc.
Over the course of two hours, discover the basics of this artisanal printing technique and create your own artwork. Treat yourself to a creative moment to imagine, explore, and produce your first print.
Open to all skill levels, no experience required. A chance to slow down, experiment, and let your creativity shine!

- ✨ Limited spots: 12 participants (6 for the SFV community, 6 for Réseau-Femmes)
Workshop content:
- 15 minutes of introduction to printmaking and its diverse techniques
- 20 minutes of demonstration and pratical advice
- 1 hour 30 minutes of free creativity
Muriel, a committed artist to accessible and calming art
Muriel is a multidisciplinary artist based in Comox. She draws inspiration from the nature around her—ocean, lakes, and mountains. By trade a graphic designer, she is passionate about art and supporting other artists. She leads creative workshops at festivals, schools, daycare centers, for individuals, families, groups, and through art therapy. Muriel believes in the daily benefits of practicing art: more art means more happiness and less stress! From printmaking to inks, watercolor, and collage, she will guide you and help you take the leap to bring more art into your life.
This activity is part of Entr’Elles, a program curated by Réseau-Femmes British Columbia, highlighting activities by and for Francophone women across the province, in celebration of International Women’s Day (March 8).
