La Vie Ensemble
Two guitars, two voices, two languages: La Vie Ensemble is the soulful duo of David Temple and Hélène Nicole Richard. Their eclectic style and heartfelt lyrics create a unique sound that resonates deeply with audiences.
Having met in January 2024 in Ocala (Florida), they quickly formed their duo, and began touring across the U.S. and Canada. Married in June, they recorded their first EP shortly afterward. For them, their life journeys naturally led them to one another.
Mimosa
A bilingual quintet from Vancouver, Mimosa blends jazz, Brazilian samba, French chanson, and cabaret to create a sound that is both refined and delightfully eccentric. With four acclaimed albums and tours across Canada—including performances at the Vancouver and Montreal jazz festivals—they have become CBC favorites, featured in two documentaries, including Le bonheur, chanté par Mimosa. Their latest album, Bien ensemble, was released on March 29, 2024, under the Cellar Music label.
