Café Causerie – Visit to the Butterfly Gardens

Come discover the magic of the Butterfly Gardens on a friendly group outing! After sharing a meal at the Société francophone de Victoria, we’ll head off to explore a tropical world full of surprises.
You’ll have the opportunity to observe butterflies, frogs, turtles, an iguana, a flamingo, free-flying exotic birds, and beautiful tropical gardens. It’s a wonderful opportunity to relax, connect with others, and enjoy nature.
A warm and welcoming gathering designed for adults aged 50 and over to meet, chat, build connections, and enjoy a great time together.
Fee: $25 (includes lunch, transportation, and admission to the Butterfly Gardens)
Program:
11:00 a.m. – Welcome and meet at the SFV
11:30 a.m. – Lunch at the SFV
1:00 p.m. – Departure for the Butterfly Gardens
1:30–2:30 p.m. – Visit of the Butterfly Gardens
3:00 p.m. – Return to the SFV
Menu:
- Potato salad
- Red Barn wraps
- Bread
- Brownies
- Coffee and tea
Important notes
- The environment inside the gardens is warm and humid. Please dress accordingly.
- Bring a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses (especially if you are sensitive to bright light).
- Don’t forget to bring your reusable water bottle.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellations made before Friday, July 10 at 11:00 a.m. (PDT) are eligible for a full refund. After Friday, July 10 at 11:00 a.m. (PDT), no refunds can be issued due to expenses already incurred by the Société francophone de Victoria.
