This moderate trail may require the use of hiking poles for better stability\, but this is not necessary.\n\n \n\n 	Date: Sunday\, June 23\n 	Meeting time: 10:45 am at the Sooke Hills Wilderness Regional Park South Trailhead – Parking Lot. – Click here for coordinates.\n 	Hike departure: 11:00 a.m. sharp\n\n \n\nRoute details\n\n 	Distance: 6.6 km\n 	Elevation gain: 307 m\n 	Approximate duration: 2.5 hours\n\n \nRecommendations: Don’t forget to bring a picnic lunch so you can enjoy the view from the summit. And make sure you have plenty of water and footwear suitable for hiking. \nCarpooling: We encourage carpooling for this event.
