DESCRIPTION:In collaboration with the Consulate General of Switzerland in Vancouver\, writer Thomas Sandoz invites you to a literary evening. The event will feature an enriching workshop-conference on the cultural policies influencing the literary landscape of French-speaking Switzerland. Hors d’oeuvres and Swiss wine will be provided courtesy of the Consulate General of Switzerland in Vancouver. \n\n\n 	Please reserve your ticket below. He has published novels\, essays and monographs in Switzerland and France (Grasset\, Le Seuil\, PUF). He is also the author of various contributions\, including for the stage. Alongside his personal projects\, he works on commission as a cultural mediator and leads writing workshops\, particularly in schools. He has received several literary awards.

Robin\, Rebecca\, and their three daughters\, Charlotte\, Rosalie\, and Melody\, delve into the folk repertoire of the Acadian Peninsula to bring forth a beautiful selection of songs and reels they keep from being forgotten. The LeBlanc Family performs a true act of remembrance by playing pieces from the heritage of all Acadian regions. Let the show begin! \n\n\n 	Tickets are limited in quantity\, so make sure to get yours now to not miss out on this concert featuring Acadian rhythms!\n 	Thirsty or peckish? No worries! Our bar and bites service has got you covered\, for a small fee. \n\n\n\n\nSchedule\n\n 	6:45 PM: Doors open\n 	 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM: Concert\n\n\n\n\nBiography\nThe LeBlanc family has been a musical family for at least 6 generations. Today\, Robin LeBlanc\, along with his wife and their three daughters aged 12\, 14\, and 15\, continues this tradition. Immersed in music from birth\, the three LeBlanc sisters dance to the jig tunes played on their father’s violin\, which carry the dance melodies played by his great-grandfather Fériole in Saindoux. Charlotte\, the eldest\, plays the violin\, Rosalie accompanies on the piano and concertina\, and Melody adds to the mix with her step dancing and flute playing. Their mother harmonizes her voice with theirs\, performing several traditional songs from Pré d’en haut. To the rhythm of the music\, “The LeBlanc Family” will surely get you dancing and give you a taste of a traditional Acadian evening!
